Newcastle West were competing in Division 1 and were hosted by Toomevara. They won their first game against St. Cronan's of Roscrea but lost their second to Athenry of Galway and also lost out to their hosts setting up a quarter-final clash with Éire Óg Nenagh and unfortunately lost out in that clash to exit at that stage.

Newcastle West's Iris Kenneally was Limerick's representative in the Féile Skills competition and performed very well finishing fourth overall.

They drew their first two games against Gailltír of Waterford and Feakle/Killanena of Clare and beat their hosts to qualify for a quarter-final clash with Thomastown of Kilkenny and unfortunately lost out at that stage.

Ballyagran/Newtownshandrum travelled to the Regional Féile in Laois. They played Na Fianna of Dublin in the first game on sat morning and won before losing out to Piltown of Kilkenny anin their second game. This set up a semi-final clash with Sarsfields of Galway which they unfortunately lost to the eventual winners of the competition.

Galbally took part in the Regional Féile in Kilkenny where they won two out of three group games setting up a semi-final clash with Young Ireland of Kilkenny which they won. However unfortunately they Lost out by 4 points in the final to Ardrahan of Galway.

All four teams performed well in the competition bringing great credit to Limerick Camogie and most importantly all the teams enjoyed the experience playing against and getting to know players from all over the country in a great celebration of our National Game.
