Limerick Camogie Sponsor-a-Player Initiative

posted 7 Mar 2016, 03:54 by Kevin Holmes

Limerick Camogie players and management were present in the Woodlands House Hotel to launch their "Sponsor-a-Player" initiative. Main team sponsor David Fitzgerald of the Woodlands House Hotel was on hand to present new gear to team captain Lorraine McCarthy.

The initiative launched by County Board Chairperson Seán Condon and team manager John Tuohy offers local companies the chance to support Limerick's Senior Camogie team by sponsoring one of the members of the panel. Sponsor packages are available aaround €300 which will see the sponsors logo featured prominently on the players profile page on the county website and will also involve a photo opportunity with the player.

Since Limerick's return to the Senior stage last year the profile of camogie has never been higher with regular coverage in the national and local media including coverage on the Sunday Game. County PRO Kevin Holmes pointed out that with increasing media coverage of women's sport over the last few years Camogie offers good value for sponsors. Anyone interested in supporting this initiative should contact Seán Condon on 087 8109978 or Rachael Hayes on 085 7241603.
