Cunningham Foods Senior Championship Final
Granagh Ballingarry v Killeedy
Sun 19th Oct at 1pm

Granagh Ballingarry and Killeedy will meet in the Limerick Senior Camogie Championship Final on Sunday at 1pm in Ballyagran. The match pairs the champions of 2013 and 2012 and with both teams full of inter-county stars it promises to be a great occasion.

Killeedy overcame League champions Newcastle West in the first semi-final on Sunday lats but were made work for their win in the second half. Killeedy led by 1-4 to 0-1 at half-time but a spirited fight-back by Newcastle West reduced the gap to 2 points with 10 minutes to go. However 2-1 from Killeedy in the final minutes stopped their momentum and sealed the win by 3-5 to 0-5.

Granagh Ballingarry were totally dominant in their semi-final clash with Ahane in what was a rerun of last year's final. They led by 2-8 to 1-1 at half-time and never looked like relinquishing that lead. Despite a spirited Ahane never giving up they were unable to breach Granagh's defense in a consistent manner and Granagh ran out winners on a scoreline of 3-16 to 2-3.

These two teams have been the dominant forces in the Senior club scene over the past few years and we are all looking forward to what promises to be a great days Camogie in Ballyagran on Sunday.
